Daughter Update

I started to get worried right after the posting about daughter being sick so I called the doctors office and waited for them to call me back. Luckily, she called back right away and she told me to come right in that they had an opening for her.

Well we were there within record time....Surprised, why because I wasn't stopped for speeding and I saw no police cars and my oldest was home from morning school and he was asking what I needed and what he should do to help his baby sister......which he normally doesn't do. I could tell on his face that he was becoming concerned also.

Well, doctor did an oxygen check on her and the numbers were to low. Then he did a breathing treatment which consists of putting a face mask on a normally wiggly lil 2-1/2 yr old.....not fun...but you could tell something was wrong because she just sat there and let us do it. Her numbers were rechecked and they didn't move.

He told me he was going to admit my lil girl into the hospital. Suddenly, the flood gates just opened and I was on the verge of crying. My daughters ped doesn't put people in hospital or give people an Rx to make mommy and daddy's happy.....it takes a lot for him to do either...he believes in home remedies and not doping up kids...which I Like......So for him to want to admit her to the hospital is serious.

Well its almost 12 hours since she has been here and we have been having breathing treatments every 2 to 4 hours depending on how she reacts to the previous treatment. Numbers are improving A LITTLE.....but her breathing is still extremely labored.....which I never knew what that meant till I saw my baby girl having problems. She is breathing like she is running a marathon....weezing and not keeping fluids down.

When we first arrived they did a blood test and those came back negative/clean so she doesn't have RSV or Influenza. They then took chest X-ray and she was a trouper. They said she was the easiest to film all day. That came back clean. The Specialist and my daughters Dr. viewed the film and they saw nothing.

I am rambling but I really don't know what else I can do...so I am going to catch up on my blog and be posting a boat load of tutorials to keep my mind off that A) its 1:40 am here and B) I can't sleep because my baby girl and I are in a hospital when she should be at home snoring away in her pink cotton candy colored room.

My daughter is sick today....and so I wanted to post a cute little picture of her finally resting....

And no she isn't sick because she ate all the cookie dough from the bucket....LOL...that is the famous puke bucket.....She is resting now.....she is unable to hold any liquids or food down right now. Poor lil thing all she wants to do is stay by momma and rest.....

Into one of these lil babies...OMG....this is the sweetest little pouches. This would be awesome for Valentines, Birthday's, Easter, Christmas stocking stuffer....or just for a Because I love you gift to someone special. The steps are laid out so easy for each person. I made a pink one for my daughter to put her little treasures in and yes again my middle child took it from her and hid it on her.....but then I saw him napping with it...he had it in his hands and was holding on to it for dear life..... Hi....I am backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. I have been off in my little corner of the sewing room feeling sorry for myself.....I have just been in a funk......well what is a good way to get out of that funk but by Organizing & Sewing. Everything seems new again and you get that new notion & fabric high and you then get to sit and enjoy something for a moment. I did that and I am feeling dang good now.

I was upset because of someone that just gets me in all of a tizzy. Well no more.....This person can just go some where else and be poison...... I start organizing my sewing area and I started to take pictures....I will do a before and after series for everyone when it is done.

Now for the good news. Starting tomorrow I will be listing some seriously awesome items to sew and you guys will love them....

I know I am a tutorial blog but I decided to break my rule and blog about something other then tutorials. Since this is a DIY website/blog I think I can slide this one by. First of all Janome is a great company and wonderful products. They only do the best of the best so you can't loose with this brand name. So today I was deciding if I should make a diaper clutch for my SIL who is having her first Baby Hank... My guys call new babies this...its halarious...LOL

Anyway I decided to do it for her...I also made a changing pad and a bib for her that matched... The black and white is actually PUL fabric that I purchased from an eBay seller...Can't remember who it was but anyway... And yes I am actually going to show my first attempt at a diaper clutch... I did pretty good for having kids screaming all around me and wanting to help...

I used racing PUL with some sports themed on the inside since they are having a lil Hank (boy)....I really hope she likes it....I wanted something special for my SISTER Sara.....

I used the tutorial from a Diary of A Quilter. I just love her blog...she is a great at what she does....

Well its been a few days since I blogged and I am just not interested in sewing . . . Husband is debating about moving and I am just tired...UGhhh.... its been a long long day.... I went to go look at a house for us. Its awesome and it seems warm and comfy. A lot of nice new stuff in there. I think I can get my husband to let me have the family room for my crafting because it has a huge new living room. And I actually think homes should only have 1 living room. I know that we could rip out the basement (its nice...but) and we could just redo it in a few years and make it one huge play room for the kids....LOL

I love love love this blog...she makes items that are so "prettiful" I give her 5 golf claps and a hug . . . . I have made a lot of items using her simple and easy to use directions and love them...I gave them to my SIL who is due in March . . . and she was oohhhh ahhhhh oooohhhhh

I am wanting to do another post tonight but I just don't have the drive....I am needing a new sewing machine ... I think my machine only does a straight/top stitch and a zig zag stitch and thats about it....I NEED MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE....

I have found what I want....what are the chances of me getting this.....prob slim to none closer to none....but a girl can wish.....

I was scooting around today with this awful migraine and thought about what I could do that wouldn't make my migraine worse...well surfing the net for tutorials wasn't the answer ... but alias my addiction is so bad that I did surf while I have a migraine....dedication I tell ya....it is not an addiction if your dedicated and sick...

I found a new headband tutorial that looks like this would be an awesome one for my daughter...it has elastic in the back so a knot on her neck won't rub wrong and since its just a fancy elastic then it has more stretch to last longer as her noggin gets more HUGE.....

I am going to make this for her this week and post a picture of what I made...I am making an outfit for Ggma's big party in a few weeks so good excuse to make one...yeahhh thats it...LOL....

I this this would be an awesome way to organize my patterns....I don't have that many... What about doing a bunch of these on a empty wall...Yeah right who has an empty wall in their sewing room...if they do its about to be filled with fabric and new crafting toys...LOL

Anyway its an awesome idea to do for kids room. I think I would have had to do this early on so the child is use to seeing it and gets use to hearing the parent saying "Don't Pull On...."

Okay...I am this baby tutorial kick lately...don't know why...but I have a ton of tutorials and this one just grabbed me for some reason...Prob because I still have two in diapers so I know I could use it.
